I'm probably going to be in trouble for saying this but I do not understand the whole concept of bringing souvenirs for people at home. I don't know why my friends would want a souvenir of my trip nor do I want souvenirs from their vacation.
I guess I view a souvenir as a remembrance of something I myself have experienced and enjoyed and therefore a souvenir of my girlfriend's trip means nothing to me.
I say save your money. I know many others have different thoughts on this subject.
OTOH, I do occassionally bring back t-shirts for the grandkids.
We honeymooned there and only brought home keepsakes for ourselves. After putting our down payment on the house, the wedding costs, and of course the honeymoon to Disney World, we were on a budget. No one expected anything either, I'm sure of it. To be honest, I've never heard of someone getting a souvie from someone else's honeymoon trip. That just sounds strange to me. So keep your money and be selfish-this is your one and only honeymoon! Enjoy and congratulations!
When I was on my honeymoon I bought my step kids souvenirs...a few actually...and I sent my family and friends postcards. That's it. My husband bought ME a bunch of stuff though!!!
