Souvenir Cups with Free Dining?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had tried ordering a Souvenir Cup with the Free DDP? In the DDP brochure I have there is nothing about going to, say, Tony’s and ordering Lemonade with a Souvenir Cup…

I can't speak for free dining, but I can say that when we went and used the DDP twice in 2007 - we were never successful in getting a souvenir cup with any type of DDP credit.

I would guess that would translate to no free souvenir cups for free dining as well.

Same here...never had any sort of success trying to order a souvie cup as part of the DDP...I think it is considered a "specialty" drink, which is not included in the DDP according to the fine print.

we always get the souvenier cup... even when we're on free dining... but we pay for it

Do you mean a fun cup that a certain beverage comes in, like a glow cube in certain drinks would be?

In the PDF for the dining plan it states:

The following items NOT included in the Dining Plan:

etc etc etc...
Souvenir and refillable drink mugs
etc etc etc...

Well, I was hoping that they made a difference between mugs and cups.

Who knows, maybe a lawyer could make it work, but I'm sure I won't resort to any low tactics at WDW
