when you buy a souvenir cup of beer at rose and crown do you get a discount on a second drink or just a souvenir cup? secondly are you aloud to take a beer to walk around with in the park using the souvenir cup?

Yes, you are allowed to take a beer to go and walk around Epcot.

No discounted refills - and if the cup is not glass (I think they are plastic), yes you can walk around with a beer in it.

They don't sell the yards anymore.

FYI--You can buy souvenier mugs (tall and plastic) at the beer kiosks in Germany and Norway, too. I think that the beer & mug cost about $11-12.

The downside to souvineer mugs is having to carry them around the rest of the day.

Thanks guys, stinks about no discounts but somewhat expected. Good news about getting to take the beer with me though, it will be nice to be able to nurse a beer and enjoy it throughout the day.

I bought the refillable souvenir 1/2 yard at the Rose and Crown pub years ago and carried it in my luggage to WDW for several years, but left it in the trash at our resort when I was told that they can't refill them anymore because of sanitary/health reasons. (the contaminated container would come into contact with the beer tap). I asked why the can't just put the beer in a disposable cup, pour it into the 1/2 yard and throw the cup away, and was told that it was not Disney policy, but a local health ordinance of some sort. I'm not convinced that that's the facts; Disney might have seen the "two pints for the price of one" discount as a profit drain.
