Are their any souveniers that are unique to WDW that you cannot get anywhere but there?

Things related to the individual parks and resorts, I guess. My kids have canteens with Mickey ears (Cuuuuuute!) from AK, and I really should've bought that "Tigger is that you?" shirt at AK also... I did see some of that stuff, the dated stuff as I recall (Christmas 05 or whatever) at the Disney outlet (at one of the outlet centres--Premium?), though of course it was all old, remaindered stuff.

All of their stuffed characters, beanie size and bigger - all have WDW tags on them, and I've never seen them anywhere else (unless at a Disney outlet) - they are different than the ones you get at the Disney Store.

I think the Mickey ears are only available in the parks. My poor nephew wanted a pair of the pirate ears but we couldn't find them at the disney store.

When we was at WDW back in July/August we tried to find a decoration for our Xmas tree that was shaped like the Epcot ball, has anyone seen one?

I like the toy shop at Downtown Disney -- they have the all-you-can-stuff Mr. Potato Head Disney pieces, as well as the My Little Pony all-you-can-stuff pony princess outfits and accessories. Both are around $18/box and provide years of play time. Although the Mr. Potato parts are available at Disneyland, the MLP ones are only available at WDW.

For anyone going to Disneyland, the Build-a-Bear store at Downtown Disney sells Mickey Ears and Disneyland Tees for the bears. You can't get these anywhere else. :earsboy:

don't remember ever seeing one, but doesn't mean it doesn't exist!

If I remember, could take a stroll thru the Christmas shop and get back to you.

I always shop the Outlets first! Sometimes they have the nicest things!

I even bought DD a Mickey Snow Cone Machine our last trip!

They also sell jewelry and watches at a cheaper price there. But remember, at the outlets if you see something you want, take it then, 'cause it won't be there the next time you go!

Here in Calgary we are no where near a outlet(is their even a outlet in Western Canada?) and we are staying onsite. I hope in further visits we will rent a vehicle and explore a bit so we can go to the outlets and do some serious shopping!:thumbsup2

WDW is the only place you can buy monopoly theme park edition. The tokens are cars from some of the rides like the haunted mansion and the tea cups, you get to buy your fav rides and instead of hotels you buy castles. I didn't buy it when we were there so when my DFH cousin went I got her to pick it up for me.
The kids love to play it.

We looked all over for the Disney monopoly version when we got back too - will definatly have to grab it this time.

they always have lots of neat Christmas ornaments too that I've never seen anywhere else.

I just did my order at Disneyshopping.com yesterday so I'll have surprises waiting for me when I arrive NEXT SUNDAY :cool1:  YEAH!!
