souvenier question - DCL charms for bracelet

DD has a charm bracelet that she got at WDW a few years ago (the silver ones in the shops that have all the different charms you can hook on) and each trip she adds 1 or 2 more charms. She'd really like to get a DCL charm when we cruise in June and she asked me to try and find out if they sell these in the shops onboard. Do they?

Yes they do, in one of the shops, I forget which one, might even be both ... they have a wide variety including some that you can only get on DCL I think.

Would anyone know if they sell gold charms? I have a gold charm braclet that I love to collect charms where ever we go. Thanks

I only saw the "silver" ones, but those are the ones my DD11 has, same ones that you can buy and collect at the resorts, WDW shops, etc.

I bought one in 2004 of the ship in Gold it was very expensive and since then gold prices have gone up so I would like to know as well since we cruise in nov and I would love to get one for my DD gold charm bracelet.

My DH bought me a beautiful DCL 14K gold charm in May of 2007 so they might still have it now. At the time they had a disc shaped charm with the DCL logo on it (which I got) and other in the shape of the ship.

I saw gold charms in December in the case in the shop on the right, when walking to the Walt Disney Theatre. Can't remember the name of the shop. Sorry.

We just sailed 1/19/08 on the Magic. My daughter has the same bracelet and they had a big display of charms....probably 20 different charms to chose from...She got a minnie and mickey sitting on an anchor...they had lots of Ariel and her friends too.....hard to pick just a "couple" charms!!!! They also had the same display at Poly (minus the sailing charms)...I did not see the display WDW parks...it could have been there, and I just missed it. And, yes, we had the most perfect cruise! I hope yours will be fantastic too!!

Thanks !!! I have the disc shaped charm for all the other theme parks so that would be just perfect. It would match my other ones.
