southwwest ding!!

pls help..

i downlaoded the ding onto my desktop and here the ding, but what is supposed to happen ????

am i supposed to log on somewhere or si something supposed to automatically pop up ?

i'm confused

Hello, fellow New Yorker.Click on the message in the ding, another page will load, and then you will be able to see the dings offered for that time. Good luck!!

when i here the ding that's all i get, when i hit the icon on the desktop
i just get taken to southwest's website ?

Ok, you hear a ding, and you see the little icon. Something that looks like you have gotten mail on top of the little airplane icon. You click that. There should be a little message highlighted in blue. You click that. That should, open up a new window, that will take you to the fares, they have available for the ding.

Did you put your desired location airports you are interested in getting dings from? For instance I list Long island, NYC, Orlando, Chicago, California, Norfolk, any place I desire to travl in my setup. If you have not done that. That could be the problem.

thanks again, but i'm not getting anywhere.

i uninstalled it and redid it,

first it's not going to the bottom of my tray, just a shortcut
and when i select my airports and i have to enter my zip
and register, i cannot even find where to do that

You are not the only one who can not get the thing to work! I have reloaded it so many times, I quit. It simply doesn't work.

Grumpy-Somewhere in the shortcut box. It says update your registration. That is where you are going to enter the airport cities. I'm sorry it's not working out for you. Maybe give SW a call, maybe they will be able to walk you through it?

Grumpydad... when I installed the Ding I had t esame questions as you. The small ding box that opens on your desktop is larger than you see... scroll down for more places to input info. Also, at the top of that little box there's a link to updating your registration. This link will bring you to Southwest's website to update and add additional information.
Also, you may not be seeing anything because there may not be any Dings available for you at the moment.

Me too I downloaded it, uninstalled it, and downloaded it again a half dozen times, it NEVER worked. I finally gave up and booked with AirTran!
