Southwest?

After I read your post about the price drop I went back and double checked what I paid. I paid $99 for my southbound and $119 northbound....doubt that I will do any better. I do watch it every day anyway. It's a habit that I developed years ago.
I might change my southbound to leave a day earlier on the same flight. Right now I can do it for an extra $3 each. I'm just waiting until the new semester starts, next week, to see how DD feels about missing an extra day.
What days are u flying? The 12th was at $494 one way forever buf to MCO it was crazy. I booked flint at $122 and just changed to buf a few days ago.

Things I like about Southwest:

Two weeks ago it took at total of 15 minutes from drop off to check my bags, go through security and walk to the gate (with a 4 year old)
Two bags included
Unlike Air Canada Tango I can still feel my legs when the flight arrives because there's enough room
If I need to I can change my tickets for no penalty
If you use the magical express they can check your bags on the way back.

I'm flying on the last flight of the night on the 9th and then home on the 18th on the last flight. The day that the fares were released they were very high...much higher than I was expecting based on the year before. I booked my southbound flight only. About 10 days later the fare dropped to $99 so I got a credit and then applied that to my return flight which had also dropped that day. It was weird because any time I have booked on the first day the fares were really good.

I think right now fares are dropping because of the exchange rate...less people are booking. I remember seeing the numbers once as far as the Canadians using BUF and we make up something like 45%.

We have flown 4 times on Southwest out of Buffalo, quick and easy checkin at Airport. You want to go in Sept so no worries about snow! Have had some bad drives in the winter months.
