I was not going to be able to sit with my "child." Granted, he is a teenager, but still.
I did not pay EBCI so I really didn't have any leg to stand on there, but I did have seating at a priority level ahead of the ones whose seats he was saving.
He blocked the seats, sat in the isle, and then stood up and blocked anyone from going in. I did tell him that wasn't fair and he got very snarky and rude with me. It was unbelievable how rude he was. The flight attendant seemed to not even want to deal with it, which was even more irritating.
I will be compiling a complaint to SW, if for no other reason than to let them know that I too am NOT happy with the seat saving policy.

I'm not a nasty person but we're going to WDW via SW in February and payed for EBCI for our family of four to help ensure at least one parent gets to sit with each of our children. I hate to say it but if seat savers were trying to keep me apart from my child, I'd apologize for taking the seat but let them know we'd paid for the seat via EBCI so we could sit together and suggest they do the same next time.
