Does anyone know when Southwest announces there flights for the month of April? We are planning a trip to WDW on April 24th and they are only booking flights thru the 5th. They currently have a low rate of $108 roundtrip flight from Omaha that I would like to take advantage of.

Wouldn't we all? We booked a trip for the end of April on SW in early January of last year. We're looking for rates for April of this year 4/25-5/5. Our cruise was booked in 07/01, WHO KNEW? Southwest was really delayed in releasing any April rates AT ALL this year because they were trying to judge occupancy and flight levels. Florida was blacked out through March 15-April15, last year. We're just waiting along with you, RP1.

Be sure and check other airlines, too. While Southwest is usually the least expensive, it isn't always.

It is for us, flying from the West Coast, out of Oakland (OAK) which is almost a Northern California hub. This year we're flying on one reward ticket, and, one "the best SW fare we can get".

I usually use other airlines but last April we were bumped and were given about $1100 in travel vouchers. So we are using the vouchers and with the low airfare they are going a long way.
