Southwest...you ar killing me...AAAAGH!!

First of all DW and I love Southwest and fly only SW to Orlando...but yesterday we recieved a flyer from them with a personalized Promotional Code (for 20% off) that is only good until October 29, 2004. You had to purchase between 6/15 and 6/30.

We are going the first week of December!!!!!!!!!!

This must mean that it may be a few more weeks before they move their dates out again.

Oh well I guess the aggregation is the price we pay we being loyal...and just adds to the excitment of the trip.

I received one too in my husband's name. Wonder if I can use it when I book? I hadn't planned to go in Oct. but who knows, maybe that's a good excuse to make a trip.

I'm patiently (or not so patiently ) waiting for some late November/early December dates from Southwest also. I'm trying to see how much it will cost to fly before we decide whether we drive or fly. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be soon .

"Remember to enter your Rapid Rewards membership number at time of purchase to qualify," that leads me to believe that PERHAPS if the RR# and the unique promo code don't match at the time of actually paying that the transaction won't go thru.

maybe sawyermaw1 can work magic using her husband's promo code connected to his RR#

It is a one time use code. I doubt anyone that can use it will post it.

Just an update.
The code works for others. Someone who likes me sent me their code and it worked perfectly!!!! Saved me 94.80.

Last year there was also a promo code out there. I used the code and got the discount no problem. I had a rapid rewards number but did not get the code in the mail. This year I will do the same thing, if the code is still good when early December rates come out, all I have to do is find the code. Last year I found it on a discount code site on the internet and someone also mailed me. I would not be afraid to at least try the code, the most they can do is say the code is not accepted.

I would love to have one too.....we didn't get one with our Rapid Rewards number either.

Just picked up my money order for group deposit to go to good ole' Southwest today. Got 12 tickets out of Nashville for $270 in October. Kills me paying that when the "Florida Fare Frenzy" for $99/each way went through September.

Final total group payment not due until end of August. Hoping they'll come down a little before then

I tried it on another reservation and it was rejected. This code is different from others as the is a one time only code.

i waited and waited to see the rates for swa out of bdl or pvd and they rates were and still are really high compaired to what we usually pay.. so i ended up booking on song, out of boston, which i am not too thrilled with, but hey the price was right!! non-stop, morning flight going, evening flight coming home... $196.00 pp, plus taxes.. better than nothing!

i couldn't wait any longer for the swa flights to go down... makes me too nervous that they will rise instead of fall

Both BDL and PVD have 79.00 each way. About 173.00 total each way, non stop.
