I'm thinking about signing up for this to get the points for a trip to Disney in October (just came up with the idea yesterday, darn APs burning a hole in our pocket!) since it's a short trip we won't have time to drive down and back. Since it wasn't planned we also don't want to spend a lot. If I get the 50k points, we'd only have to pay $33 in fees which is awesome. BUT we are looking at going in 2 months, when do the points get credited? And also how do you get the 50k points offer I see talked about on the budget board, the chase site only shows 25k.

You get the pts in the next billing cycle AFTER you have spent the necessary amount (I think it's $2K).

In your case....I'd guess it would be really tight as you have to get the card, spend the $'s and then get billed.....before you can spend the points.

That's what I thought, I didn't think you got the points right away
Thanks!

I hit the $2,000 this month and my statement showed that the 50,000 were transferred this month, so mine didn't go the following month.

Unfortunately from my understanding the 50k offer is no longer available at the moment.

The points earned usually don't apply until after that billing cycle has ended.

It is only available through targeted offers and referrals. The current public offer is for 25k
