Southwest - Tomorrow???

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but for those waiting for Southwest to open fares past May 10, I think there's a chance tomorrow could be the day.

On their commercials and website it says, "Book by January 22 for travel through May 10.

Seems like a good bet.

Do you think because I have been waiting and waiting and my sis called Southwest on Friday and the agent said it would be THIS week. Agent would not say what day. So I just checked now before I saw your thread and NOT today anyway.

The question for me is if they will include some August dates. I don't think the schedule will go that far ahead at once, but it would be nice if it did.

I also think the update will be soon, within the next couple of days.

If I am not mistaken, that has been up for a week or better. The new dates will come out eventualy

My best guess is that whatever sale they were running ended Jan 22 and on that date their sched was open thru May 10 so that statement is a valid because you can only book thru May 10. (on 01/22)

Glad I am not the only one waiting! I feel like I have been waiting forever!!! We need flights May 12 and May 19. It has almost been torture looking at that May 10 date. So close, so close....

I would stay up tonight if that was the case....or do they generally mean after 8am or something....???

Not sure if it's relevant, but my TA hinted to me that SWA usually posts their new discounts on Tuesdays @ midnight (so Monday going into Tuesday) so perhaps they also extend their dates that particular day of the week too??? Fingers crossed!!!

Tuesday at midnight to me would be more like Tuesday into Wednesday....
but that being said....I am still staying up TONIGHT!!!

I believe it's generally shortly after 10:00 a.m. (or possibly 10:30) CST. It's usually Thursday, but I know I've seen it on at least one Friday. I'm also hoping it's tomorrow or if not, then this Thursday! I personally wouldn't stay up until midnight hoping for it. I think they want it to be during regular business hours...

Southwest usually opens new fares about 10 AM CST and usually on Thursday. However, I have noticed the ads with the January 22 date. Sooooo I'll sit here glued to my computer until after 10. I will say that last year in either Nov or Dec when Southwest opened dates, it was at about 6 or 8 minutes after 10.

I keep checking and nothing yet. Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for lots of I hope it's this Thursday. I need flights for end of May (going to Vegas and then WDW in September). I keep checking for flights on other airlines and they are outrageous. This is supposed to a quick and inexpensive anniversary trip.

So here it is January 25th and NOTHING passed May 10th for fares at all!!!

What is going on with you SOUTHWEST AIRLINES????

..hmm,

AT's beginning to look better all the time, despite the lousy flight times.

Wonder what the $ amt will be from PIT...currently same flight in May would cost me almost $30 more pp (although it is direct).

Anyone ever get a ding from MCO to PIT on a Sunday?
