I am use to Airtrans hard uncomfortable seating and cramped leg room. Can you fill me in on what to expect for Southwest? Is it the same or better?

Southwest's seats are about 1" narrower than Airtran seats but have 2-3" more space between rows. Can't speak to whether they are softer.

AirTran has the business class option, which Southwest doesn't have.

I am used to the wonderfully comfortable seats in Airtran business class with lots of leg room. I am positive that Southwest will not compare since they don't even HAVE business class.

I love the BC seats on Airtran also, but we are flying SW this time so I was wondering how they compare size wise to the Airtran seats.
