Just got an email and confirmed on the website: $39 - $79 one way to and from Florida through the end of schedule! Flights from ISP where I am flying from are $49, unfortunately that fare is unavailable for the flights I have booked, so no credit for me. I sure hope it can help someone else, though. Good luck!

I had reservations on another airline and when I checked the flights the departure times had changed so drasaticly that they allowed me to cancel without penalty. I then checked SWA and found the $49 fare each way from Albany and for the three of us we saved over $200!!!

Now we have more money to spend in St. Thomas..WOO-HOO!!

Thank You Southwest Airlines.

We were going to drive and I had budgeted $300 for gas plus hotel rooms going and coming and food. We can fly out of Jackson MS(four hours away) , the 4 of us, for $387 round trip. Yes, life is good

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I just got $49 fare over my $68 Ding of yesterday! :Pinkbounc

I saw the sale this morning.. I have my air booked down from Pittsburgh for 49.00 on airtran and now comming back to Pittsburgh on Southwest for 49.00. I am so happy.. Also free dinning!! I would think that this is turing into a very reasonable surprise trip for my daughters and I!

Air for 3 people: 352.00
Room and Tickets, no hopping 6 nights 1102.00 (POP)

And Free Dinning! All for under $1500.00

Now I just have to wait till October!

Here's to more people who can book and have a great trip! :disrocks:

I read the emial and tried to change our reservations for NOv. I keep getting a message that the reservation sysmtem is unavailable. Am I doing something wrong? I'm afraid the $49 fares will be gone. Anyone else having this problem?

Our flights dropped from $99 to $49 now we have credit and can go again!

:) :) :)

Finally!!! I can rebook and fly out of Nashville!!!

We were able to get SW from RDU to MCO for $39. They didn't have a return flight time that we liked though so we got American for $71. That comes to a little over $500 for 2 adult and 2 children (we're also traveling with an infant but she'll be on my lap). $500 will be cheaper than driving from NC (with gas over $2.50 gal) and stopping to spend the night and food for the drive. I have not slown since 1999, I'm a little nervous though but 1 hour 40 mimutes on a plane will be better than 10-11 hours in a car with a 3 month old.

Called and asked for help. It was my silly mistake - too excited I guess. I changed our tickets and saved over $400.

Got $49 flight on return trip. Not available on flight leaving. Philly to Orlando in October.

seems the florida flights are not available until the end of schedule....only good til november 17 ( hedging the time around thanksgiving )

must be purchased by september 8th for flight from august 30 - november 17

I checked the website this morning and got us back $120 for our Oct trip!! I wasn't so sure they would reduce rates because of fuel costs. I love SW!

Confirmed anyway for Nov 10th one way to Orlando from Ft. Lauderdale! :cool1: First time I am flying since 1980! :earseek: Hope all goes well for me. :teeth:

When tickets go on sale and you have existing reservations, Southwest will let you change your tickets for the sale price? Do they give you credits to use or will they credit your credit card?

Thanks in advance!

Boo hoo! I still can't get the flight time I need for our return from MCO in November

PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the BUF-MCO late Nov/mid Dec flights are indeed on sale, just not at $49. Looking at some dates in December , there is an internet fare price (which I assume is a sale fare) that is about $99 , still less then yesterdays price.

Does anyone think that SWA would ever offer Dec 17 BUF-MCO, Dec 31 MCO-BUF, or Jan 7 MCO-BUF at $49 or would they keep these prices higher since these are considered peak/holiday dates (since school doesn't go back this year for a lot of people until Jan 9)???

I'm waiting and watching every DING and Special for the Florida fares to go on sale for early December.

Just wishin and hopin and plannin and dreamin.........
