Has anyone used a reward to book two separate one way tickets for two different people? My mom has a reward and she isnt going to use it. We were wondering maybe she can get it for me and DH one way going somewhere

I've used it to book two one way tickets. They were both for the same person but were completely unrelated trips. We had to pay for our trip down because it was a black-out date for Rapids Reward tickets but used it for the return portion. Then the next time we flew we used the RR credit for the going part and paid for the return flight. The RR certificate is good for two one-way travels so you can use it however you want.
