We invited kids and grandkids to join us at WDW this summer. We'll be there the week before, and then they're joining us for a second week. I wish we'd been able to book it the other way around, but our DVC points didn't work out that way. Each of them is a seasoned business traveller, but they've never flown as a family with kids before. Neither one of them has ever flown SWA, either.
I had enough rapid rewards to book their flights to Florida. (Two adults, one ticketed child, and one unticketed lap child.) They know to bring a birth certificate for the 1 y/o.
As they've never flown SWA, I can certainly talk them through how the normal process works. I also made it a little easier for them by adding early bird check-in to all three tickets. But I want to make sure there isn't anything different in the process because of the rewards tickets. I've never cashed in rewards for a flight before.
Aside from each of them having a different confirmation number, is there anything else that's different from the regular SWA tickets/processes when flying on rewards? It won't automatically bump them in the the 'C' group, will it?
