Southwest question

I know Southwest is a no frills airline, but do they offer beverage service on flights of 3 hours? I like a glass of wine on the plane(eases the fear a little!) I usually fly Midwest Express and have been spoiled. Thanks!

We just flew Southwest for the first time and loved it. Our flight from Manchester, NH was about 3 hours they came around twice and handed out drinks (you can order beer/wine and mixed drinks $). They also gave us alot to eat. On the ride down peanuts, oreo cookies and cheese and crackers. On the way home peanuts, pretzels and wheat thins. My children were also given a playpack which included crayons, coloring book and flying wings..Will go southwest our next trip....hope this helps..

SWA = friendlist flight attendants in the sky!

We have a 5 hour from San Diego to Orlando. Does SW ever show inflight movies? Someone, help??? We can rent a portable DVD at the airport with a DVD for $12. Should I reserve one?

No frills, no movies.
Beer and (as the attendant put it) cheap wine = 3.00
Mixed drinks = 4.00
Soft drinks, juice, water and emergency air are at no charge. (These FAs are a hoot).

SWA provides some of the BEST entertainment in the skies! My only gripe is that I can't fly non-stop out of DTW!!! I either have to make a stop in Chicago, St Louis or Nashville. But for the price, they are worth it!

Get to know some of your cabin mates. Quite a few of us have the drink coupons we aquired with our Rapid Rewards and have been known to 'treat" a seatmate to a beer!!!

I'd spring for the DVD!!! Is that from an airport vendor or from SWA??? That would be a great idea for us in April!
