Is Southwest discontinuing its flights from Philadelphia to Orlando? :confused3
I hope not!

Is there some reason you asked this??? SW rarely leaves a place once they start service.

Not sure where you heard this, but I have not heard anything about SW pulling out of any cities, in fact, they continue to add cities. I wouldn't worry if I were you.

I also heard SW was trying to add more gates in PHL.....from what I've seen I think their business is pretty good there.

didn't they recently pull out of minneapolis/st paul?

I heard it from my aunt who is a AAA travel agent - but I have to say she RARELY has her facts straight. So I just wanted to check with more reliable folk! ;)

I have used SW on 3 trips so far and I'm using them this July, this October and next July. I'm very happy with them and I hope they stay put!

Well, the truth is that TAs don't like SW at all.... SW doesn't use the standard booking systems and does no agent reimbursement (the others do very little, but...) So TAs will try to steer you to another airline. (I once herad of one who told her clients SW was going out of business and that's why their schedule didn't extend beyond a certain date. The client then bought a much more expensive from her on DL!)

No. Southwest has never offered service at Minneapolis-St. Paul or any other airport in Minnesota.

I'm aware of two airports from which Southwest exited. Southwest stopped service at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) in favor of Oakland International Airport (OAK) across the bay. And Southwest stopped service at Detroit City Airport (DET) in favor of the larger Detroit Metro Airport (DTW).

the more i think on it, the more i remember that maybe it was ATA/Southwest affiliation that went into M/SP but ceased as of December '05...
