Southwest Question-Unavailable vs. Sold Out

What's the difference. One day we want to book there are a few times listed as unavailable and others listed as sold out. Does unavailable typically become available again (which I really hope so!)? What's the difference between the two.
 
Usually you will see "unavailable" in the lower fare categories when higher-priced fares are still available. Discounted fares may or may not reappear for those flights. Sold out generally means that there are no more seats available at any price. Barring cancellations you will not see tickets reappear for those flights.
 
Most of the airlines also "hold" seats for a certain length of time if someone is checking into prices online and gets right up to the payment section/step....

You might just have hit a busy checking time as well...:confused3
