Wow.......SWA has always been my favorite airline......but, I don't like what's been happening lately. My DH and I were on a flight from PHL to MCO on May 10th which was diverted back to Baltimore (we were over Norfolk area when we diverted back up the Bay) due to "warning lights in the cockpit and the inability to gain altitude". The pilot told us the altitude we were at we didn't have enough fuel to make MCO and he couldn't take us any higher due to the warning lights. I don't believe our flight made the news, however, we did land in Baltimore with firetrucks and emergency equipment waiting on the runway. So, it makes me wonder if it happens more frequently than we hear. It was a pretty tense experience for all onboard........one I don't wish to repeat. I will say SWA handled the situation, once we were on the ground, in an efficient manner......we also only experienced a two hour delay....they had another flight due in to Baltimore which was scheduled to stay overnight.......so they put us on that plane to continue to MCO.
