HI
I am going to pop century in 7 days is southwest a participating airline for RAC

No it is not listed. They will print your boarding pass and stuff but you cannot check in with them. Well it was like that when I was there in August 2009.

Yes you can!! During our last trip POP printed our boarding passes for us, RAC checked our luggage, and we were off to MCO on Magical Express without our luggage for our SWA flight. I did check in @ 24 hour mark while we were in Epcot and printed boarding passes there. Did not ask POP to print our boarding passes but they were on our door the morning of our departure. The RAC people said that they are out of testing and into Phasing SWA into the other resorts, values first since they are the largest. We had about a 20 min conversation about the topic. The day we departed the RAC desk received more luggage scales, our luggage was the first to use them. With the extra baggage they needed to move people more quickly and the extra scales would help do that.

Has there been any news about expanding this service to the other Disney resorts? I thought I read a post awhile back that after the first of the year that all resorts would be participating-or is this just wishful thinking???? :)

There is talk about SW participating at all resorts. I think one of the big issues is the vast amount of luggage that would then have to be handled. At least that is what I have heard from the RAC agents at the resorts. They have said that SW handles so many WDW guests that it would put an enormous strain on the baggage handling..which might mean changes in time needed to get it from resort to MCO.

Can you use your influence to please get this done?;)

Just got home last night (left 79 to return to 19 degrees and snow). I was at Pop for 3 nights and the BWV for 6 nights.

1. YES, you can use RAC at Pop, it is listed on the flyer in your room.

2. No, you can not use it at any other resort except the value resorts. (It is NOT listed on the flyer at other resorts, only at the value resorts.) I asked yesterday at BWV if they knew when the other resorts would be added and they said they have no idea when they will be added. (When we were there in December, the BAGs rep seemed to think it would be soon, so this was a more uncertain idea now and didn't sound like it would be anytime soon -- which makes me glad I switched my SW March flight home to Jetblue home.)

I was thinking the same thing but they handle my luggage when I arrive. Every time we go home it seems like only about 25% of the people on the bus stop at South West. It would be nice not to have to check my luggage when we get to the Earport.
