If we purchase a 6 day PH ticket can it be bridged to a 10 day MYW ticket without PH option?

Your second email (subj: "Your Southwest Vacations Travel Confirmation") should contain the dates you had selected.
For all 3 of my purchases with dates in early November, I got the Itinerary email w/ codes the following day at 10:15AM eastern, sharp

Wish they had an option for something other than 7 or 10 days. We need 8 day tickets and I don't want to deal with being short a day of FPs and having to upgrade there (coordinating with two other families and fastpasses are enough of a project!).

I seem to always find these threads a few hours to late!! ARGGG!! I booked our 5 day base tickets through undercover tourist this morning for $697, and they charged and shipped them. Now I see that I could get two 6 day base tickets for $80 cheaper!! I saw earlier in the thread that undercover tourist doesn't price match, so I wonder if I should just wait until my tickets come in, send them back for the refund and then get the southwest ones. I am just wondering if I can do all of this before our 60 day window on 11/28. hmm?? Any experiences with refunds from undercover tourist?

I just saw this thread and it sounds like a great deal. A 6 day ticket for the cost of a 3 day?? Has it been determined if these tickets can be used in May of 2016.

Robo's response is on the first page of this thread:

Despite the date that some resellers request for their own internal bookkeeping purposes, MagicYourWay tickets are not dated.

Once you obtain them, they do not expire, and can be used any time.

I'll see what happens tomorrow, then. I was surprised to receive three emails immediately, and the third one does say Travel Itinerary ( but no bar code or ticket number).

One final question. We still have magic bands from a previous trip. I can use those once I receive the confirmation number from SWV, correct. Once linked to the MB will I still have to pick up tickets in May when we arrive at WDW?

Your MBs provide the link to the ticket entitlements in your MDE account. No need for the hard, plastic tickets.

I just ordered 4- 6 day base tickets. Saved $148 over Undercover Tourist. I got the 2 immediate emails. My dates I entered were November 12th, but we are not going until March. Hoping to see that bar code tomorrow. Thanks for all the tips and help!!

No. Tickets purchased through authorized ticket sellers can only be upgraded at WDW.

Leave the least preferred park day free of FPs and book for that park when you upgrade your ticket.

If you can swing it, you can buy 2 for each person and book for the 7 days.

Then, as soon as you reach WDW, upgrade to add on the extra day to Ticket #1s. Immediately move/reassign all Ticket #2s to a fake person in MDE to save for your next trip.

Question...will Disney refund the price difference? I have our Dec vacation paid for, but it's the free dining promotion. I'm sorry if this has already been asked...I tried looking thru the other posts, but I worked a 13 hr shift today and am in need of sleep so I probably overlooked it!

The current WDW price for a 6-day HOPPER ticket is $451.56 (including tax.)
The current WDW price for a 10-day BASE ticket is $426.00 (including tax.)

Since the full-price 10-day Base ticket costs LESS than the full-price 6-day Hopper, that
would not be considered an "upgrade" and (technically) is not allowed.

There MIGHT be a possibility that the ticket CM could decide on a bit of Pixie Dust and do the "upgrade"
and return any "cash-back" to the guest via a Disney gift card. (But, that simply might not happen.)

A resort PACKAGE requires a minimum ticket purchase from the Disney Resort as part of the resort stay.
