Southwest Opening Up Flights tomorrow!

It has been a while since I booked and now they have the stupid birthdate for everyone and now I won't be able to book my nephew's girlfriend because I don't know her birthday!

At $49, I wouldn't have thought about it again either. I don't think you can do better than that. Why stress about that part of the trip planning anymore, right? It would certainly be nice if this happened today!

It's been 5 yrs. since I've last booked Orlando myself, so I was prepared ...went on last night and did dummy ressie's just so I'd be familiar with the screen for today. I know. I'm anal like that.

Can't you get in touch with someone real quick to get her birthdate?

FYI: We used the EBCI for our Thanksgiving weekend flight down and return flight home last week. Purchased it the day it was released. We were A16-18 for both legs of the flight. $60 well spent for us!

Wish I could. Her and Nephew are in Finals at Virginia Tech today. My Sister is a teacher and teaching class too! I left emails and voice mails, but I know all three of them are unavailable right now. I was going to book her seperately anyways but I would like to just get it done!

I just bought Fri 6/4 from MDW for $94 but our return on the following Sunday was $158 so I will wait that one out for now. The week before was $74 so I am holding onto the hope that they will come down a little in the coming weeks

Yeah...they're up...I booked, but I'm not happy. The search will still be on for these rates to drop.

Checking for friends from BWI or PHL and they are really, really high. With 8 people, they will probably drive now unless they come down.

Over $1100 for the 3 of us to go from Dallas to Orlando.
It is cheaper by almost $100 for us to fly on American and pay the bag fees!!!

There is NO WAY I am booking SW at these prices. I will keep watching, but at this point in the game SW is the MOST expensive of ALL of the airline that fly DFW to MCO.

I am sure they will come down in the coming weeks. I made the mistake of booking our December 2008 trip when they were released and ended up with over $500 in credit for 3 people.

I needed OMA to MCO June 15.. and it was too much. I'll wait.

I had been kind of tracking the prices on the flights in April/May, thinking those might be an indication of what to expect. NOT!

The round trip in April would cost under $700. Fine. Great. And those prices had actually come down since I first looked at them. We can't travel in April, I had just been watching the rates while I waited for the next round of fares.

Over $1100 for June? NOT FINE! We'll go on American and get miles for the flights. I am not ready to buy today, so I will keep watching and see what happens. I have a horrible track record on airfare, but even I know that flights should NOT cost over $1100.

I think I will wait to book as well. Last year I booked my summer flight in February and then the rate went down in March. I think these look high. Crossing my fingers and waiting.

Its 150 cheaper than SW to fly on air tran even once I add the baggage fees. Has anyone flown air tran before?

Not what I was expecting price wise...What is normally $64 per way is now $101 per way...fingers crossed these rates come down a lot!

I have not, but they do participate in the Resort Airline Checkin if you are staying on-site! Our friends went ahead and booked with Airtran today after seeing SW's high rates come in. Even with baggage fees they are saving $200 and they will get to use RAC at Beach Club.

We were not happy with the flights and think we will probably drive if the costs don't come down. We will see.

Just booked $180 RT STL-MCO May 24-June 1, which is the best price I've seen in years.
