I just called DH with news that we can get our 12 night-stay airfare for $542US for ALL FOUR OF US vis SW. He wants to think about it for a couple of hours and will call me back. I hope the flights are still available! Blessings, Sandra

I agree.
I booked return flights to Buf at 11 am this morning and the first 2 levels of fare were gone. I got the fun fares for the 17th march. If you can come back the following Monday its $59...and they are available

Not that I'm going anyway in that time frame, but I checked a bunch of BUF-MCO dates for some march/April/early May offerings and a lot of $59 available.

When I checked as soon as the dates were avail this morning, there was even availability on the first Sat of march Break March 10(BUF-MCO) at $59 as well as avail for the following Mon to fly home at $59 (MCO-BUF) March 19.

WOW, awesome march break prices for those going at this time.

Hi Tracey, Gary still hasn't called back. The more I think about it, the more comfy I am flying from Pearson. I know it's more money, but it's so convenient and we like the airport. I like getting to the airport via limo in 20 minutes, on the plane and off we go. Security and customs all done in the same 30 minutes. By going to BUF, we have to trust the weather is going to be okay. It's such better weather at YYZ than BUF...YIPPEE escarpment and Lake Ontario! We don't have to leave our car in a strange lot, we don't have to get to BUF a day early and stay in a hotel, we don't have a two hour drive home, go thru customs when we are tired....I don't mind spending the extra money. I take everything into consideration, not just money....if I did that, I'd never to go Disney! heehehee. Blessings & Love, Sandra

I hadn't thought of the time of year, Sandra. You're probably right to stick with Pearson - I wouldn't want to deal with the drive to Buffalo in bad weather. ITA it's not always about the $ (or we wouldn't even be going again next year). Have fun planning and hopefully we'll see you soon.

That's one step closer to our being able to book from May 19 - 25. Hopefully it'll open by mid-Dec.
8 of us are flying from Buffalo.... really like the fact the Park n' Fly is steps away from the terminal and not having a huge line up for customs... just in through security and onto the plane.....
True that weather can be a factor in the winter months but I had to take my mom to Roswell in Buffalo for Cancer treatment during the winter months, just made sure to check weather and leave lots of time to get there.
Yes... I too would love to fly out of Toronto but I can not justify the outrageous taxes and surcharges on top of the cost of flights from Pearson.
I am hoping to take the 2 youngest to the UK in 2008 and thankfully there is a new air carrier soon to be flying to Europe from Hamilton. Less taxes too!!!
No matter where everyone flies from.... Have loads of fun and a magical time!

I guess I was too late. I booked my SW flight for March 11 but I am going out of Pittsburgh. Still saving lots of money!
Toronto - Westjet was over $800 per person!

Booked Mar 13-19 Southwest via Detroit for 4 return was $544.00USD

Keep an eye on Southwest as our flight was supposedly booked and then it opened up again from Buffalo this past Sept. You never know!!!

Am I out of the loop here... I haven't seen a DING! in ages. Are they still doing DING?

It is hard to belevie that the cheaper Air Fares for the dates I want are only available in the most expensive fares (no Internet fares). When will they open up the Internet fares for booking. They all say Unavailable.
