Ive been looking at late August and the prices have keep going up> and they have already sold out alot of the Wanna get away seats. ITs crazy now i am rethinking if i will even be going away as i cannot finalize dates for another month.
I'm looking for late August too, and seeing all the non-stops as sold out. I don't believe they are actually sold out, and think they are saying that for the weekend to try and sell the higher fares. There's no way that every non-stop flight in a 10 day range is sold out. In fact there were flights available when I first looked around noon on Friday, that disappeared and showed as sold out when I checked again 3 hours later. Hold tight and keep looking. I am pretty sure they will drop in price and add those wanna get away fares back in at some point.
ETA) And now that I think of it.. I remember this happening another year. When the schedule opened up tons of flights started showing as sold out. When I called they said they had to add them back in manually (whatever that means) and that it would correct itself in a few days.
I just remembered that now.. it was either last year or the year before but I remember posting about it in a thread just like this one.
