Just got the Ding that they've opened flights up to March 7. I have a question though. I'm flying down Feb. 23 but returning Mar. 10. If I book 1 way the best I can get is $175. If I book return using March 6 as the return date, I am offered $75 each way. Should I book the return and then change the return date when it opens up? Or should I book one way at the higher rate and wait for it to go down and still wait for the return flight to open up?
Thanks,
Tony

I just checked Buffalo to MCO and Southwest is showing just the most expensive flights available for March 7th. I hope you went ahead and booked your flights, as it is unlikely that the prices will drop for March due to demand! :sad2:

I'd like to know too. Just looked at SW and am leaving March 5, got the price of 175 per person. If I buy these now and they come up cheaper later on how does the money back thing work??? I've heard people say they buy then cancel and re-book with cheaper flights closer to there departing date. Never bought from ding and SW before a newbie on this one. Usually drive but this time were flying.

Just remember if you book and want to rebook at a lower price, you don't get the money back, just a credit to use within 1 yr. If you are planning another trip then it should be fine.

Have you tried Air Tran for March 5, they still have some $89 seats available, and the non stop is $117.

I am glad I booked Air Tran down for March 6, now I am just waiting for the return flight, but I am sure it will not be at $89.
