Southwest on-line checking in question

We will be checking in on - line from WDW, but won't be able to print our boarding passes (no printer). We are not checking luggage so we won't be able to have them print them out (don't want to stand in those lines either). My DH remembers there is a kiosk to print boarding passes with a credit card, but 2 of our tickets were free (used miles but I did have to pay a $5.00 fee on them.)

Will we be able to use the kiosk to print our boarding passes from even though they were free tickets?

THanks

If you're staying at a WDW resort, the guest services/concierge desk in the lobby can print them out for you. Make sure you don't forget your conf #.

Yes, you should be able to re-print the boarding passes from the kiosks, make sure to have the Confirmation "Number" (which is a six-digit combination of letters and numbers), you may need that to pull up the reservations, in particular if you don't have a credit card for some passengers (like children). The credit card is used by the kiosk only to pull your name from, it doesn't have to be the same credit card the tickets were purchased with, but if you have the confirmation "number" for the tickets you won't even need the credit card.

I check-in for flights all the time (on Southwest and other airlines too) on-line without pringing boarding passes and have never had a problem re-printing the boarding passes from kiosks once I got to the airport.

Does doing this insure you get an "A" pass? We will have our laptop (wireless) with us to check in with SW but will not be able to print. I want to get the "A" pass to keep our family together on the plane. My DH is the worst flyer and won't sit with any body else but me and/or the kids (11, 8). Thanks in advance for any info.

Yes, as long as you checkin and get an "A" pass when checked in you will be able to print it anytime later on. So log on right at the 24 hour mark and be ready to confirm checkin. Good luck.

Just remember, you don't need to bring your laptop if all you're going to need it for is to check in for Southwest. You can have guest services at the WDW hotels print them for you, or if you have web access on your phone you can check in that way also (which is nice if your 24 hour mark is during the day when you're at parks). Just remember to have your confirmation number for whichever way you choose. :thumbsup2

I did my check-in on the front of the Mono-rail from my Cell phone on Monday night .

They can pull them up for the reprint from the CC , Drivers lic or confirm number so you will be fine.

All rsorts and even some Guest services will check you in and print for you if they are not busy.

I have a game with DD she tries to distract me and I have to get in the top ten for the A's. This trip she did it saying she saw some Turkey's as we passed through CR.I still ended up with 3,4,and 5

Thanks for all the wonderful info. We are bringing the laptop so DS can keep up with his homework while we are away. (He won't nap during break so he'll get some work done.) I'm gald to hear you can check in by phone as we will be at one of the parks at the 24 hour mark. You have all been so helpful.

we did our southwest boarding passes at the magic kingdom

after you go under the railroad station on the left there is a town hall
type building
it serves as a info center
i went in and asked and they let me use a computer behind desk and i could print the boarding passes
plus as a added bonus i got to go behind the counter
i heard some say how cool :cool1:

I should have stated that in order to check-in by phone it has to be web enabled.

The sight is mobile.southwest.com

Then select flight check-in

Enter your Confirm # and Name and it will check your entire party in.
