I've been waiting and waiting for them to come out with the sale price for Kansas City to Orlando. Their next new sale just finally updated, and still (again) Kansas City to Orlando and/or Orlando to Kansas City is not in the sale. I actually have the flight there already booked, so only need flight back. But I was thinking alot about changing the dates. I have my DVC booked for both sets of dates. Guess I will just have to go ahead and cancel the alternative dates and bank the points. Then book Delta flight back, because it is cheaper than what Southwest is currently charging. Then Southwest will come out with the sale I want after all that is done and it is too late!!!!!:headache::mad::sad1:

There may not be a sale. The last time I flew SW, the prices only went up.

I have been waiting forever for ours to go on sale and it finally did last Thur (not Tue as usual). I would recommend checking every day.

I agree, you need to check every day. I got my best price on a Tuesday, totally non-advertised price drops that were gone the next day. What are your dates? It is still early if you are looking for a winter dea. Fall sales are rolling out now, but again, you may find the best price pops up when you least expect it.
Good luck!

I know how you feel, it's stressful playing the waiting game with these airlines ! I have been waiting a month for a good price on the flights I want. I have been checking airtan, southwest and delta everyday off and on and not much of a change except one went up by 10.00.

I noticed that Orlando wasn't on the sale too! I was just looking today since we might have an unexpected trip in January for a wedding. They haven't set the date yet, but I hope they do soon before Southwest opens the next set of dates later this month. We've always had great luck booking on that first day for our spring break trips. (Booked 4 r/t tickets MCI-MCO one year for 478 and another for 586...though that was great for spring break!) I have no idea what the going rate in January is.

Good luck to you, hope you're able to snag a good fare!
