Southwest now booking..

I have 3 $200 ($600.00 total) gift cards for Southwest and a $45 credit that is good until 2/2011 that i'm looking to sell or trade. The problem that I'm encountering is that SW will only allow four forms of payment on their website. Since my $45 credit is 3 @ $15.00, that is considered 3 of the 4 forms of payment. I'm kicking myself for buying those darn gift cards now. If anyone is looking to book on SW and can help me, please let me know. I'm not looking to make any money, just get my money back.

Mods - if this is not allowed, please let me know and I will remove. TIA

Why don't you make a separate reservation for each ticket (I'm hoping there is more than one to be spending $600)? Then you can use your four payments per ticket and use it all yourself. As far as I know, there isn't much of an advantage to having them all on one reservation except to have fewer reservation numbers. I would write down a few numbers instead of wasting the credit or trying to sell it (which incidentally, isn't allowed on the DIS).

I am having the issue of my credits (3@ 30.00) only being good until June 12th. I am not going to WDW until Sept 2.. Can anyone give me some guidance on how I would be able to still use these? Or would I have to lose out or possibly go the route of trying to sell them somewhere?:confused3

I decided to keep the gift cards after all. I will use them eventually. Yes, there is more than one person. The problem with different reservation numbers is the fact that you probably won't get boarding passes together, and with children... that is a problem. I'm not sure about no selling on the disboards. I think it's OK if you don't make a profit from it. I bought a Disney Dooney from a fellow disboard member here and others have as well with no problems. People also rent points for money on the DVC board here.

You would have to book a flight and use them before they expire on June 12th. Ebay stopped allowing people to list the credits, but you may want to try Craigslist to sell them or possibly trade them for a gift card or something.

ours went up
i booked the day after they opened up for then, and got $89 each way for 9/26 and 10/6, out of ISP. i haven't seen air that low for a while:banana: .(almost makes me feel a bit better about the crazy car rental prices....almost, but not quite;))

Ours went up to for an 8/26 flight out of Islip. We booked right at the opening for 89.00 and then soon after, maybe the next day, it jumped to 109.00 and has remained at that price.

I also checked our flights home but they are still the same. We fly home on 9/5 in the evening and it's 134.00 per person. But 9/5 is the day before Labor Day so I have a feeling the price is higher because of the holiday.

Not always. We just flew SW last week using 2 Rapid Rewards. Since we were returning Palm Sunday, which is a blackout date, we had to use them for our southbound flight. This means all 4 of us having different conf #s. We didn't buy EBCI but I opened 4 windows and had our info all typed in and ready to go at T-24. We got A23, A30, A31, A32. Since ds9 got the A23, I stood with him, no problem.

For our return, we had 2 conf. #s to use up old credits but did buy EBCI. We got A17-20. It was worth the $$ to not have to worry about t-24 while in Castaway Cay.
