southwest mobil check in

Hi all,

Has anyone done the flight check in for Southwest using their cell phone? My provider is T-Mobile and I can get internet access for $6 a month. I was going to sign up for a month if possible to use the phone while in WDW to check in for my out going flight. I'll have to check in about 9:30AM. I know the hotel front desk will do it for me, but I didn't want to have to miss a morning at the parks. So I was hoping to take care of it while I'm at the parks and then print out the passes at a kiosk at MCO. My reservation includes four people. Can I check everyone in at once? Is it difficult? Thanks.

I was wondering about this as well. I already have internet access on my cell phone so I am considering using it to check in for my flights to Orlando next Saturday just to see how it works. If I do, I will let you know how it goes.

Don't you actually have to print a hard copy at the time you check in?

Yes I have done it on both My Blackeberry and also my Regular Web Cellphone .

It's very easy it opens a page to input your name and Confirm number and submit.

Then when you get to the airport you just do a REPRINT of your A boarding passes at the Koiske or the counter.Remember you only have to Check-in to get the A's not print them.

I have it bookmarked on both and it's great.Oh and not that it matters it was both LAX and BWI.

I did this on our last trip in Feb. As a matter of fact, I was standing in line at Space Mountain when I checked in. Very easy and quick. When you get to the airport, you go to one of the kiosks to the left of the regular SWA counter and check in. you can check your baggage right there as well.

You can also sign up for flight info updates. You key in your cell phone email address, flight number, date and time frame and SWA will automatically send you updates on your flight status.
