We need a room one night at the Hyatt at MCO. It's $182 directly from Hyatt. It's $276 from Rocketmiles (SW Rapid Reward Partner) but I would get an additional 6,000 miles. I'm guessing the 6K miles are worth the additional $90? Thoughts?

Not sure how many people you are looking for, LMT Club has the Hyatt at the airport for $121/nite for some random dates I put in, for October.

Southwest Rapid Rewards points are worth about 1.5 cents each (assuming you redeem them for the cheapest, Wanna Get Away fares.) So paying the extra $90 is essentially purchasing an extra 6,000 miles, which isn't a favorable deal (because you're not really earning anything extra.) Unless you really want/need the miles, I would book directly with Hyatt.

I'd also look at using Cheaptickets and using their coupon "birthdaycake" for 18% off.
