Southwest March Flights

For those March breakers, Southwest has released the rest of March. Saw a couple of good deals but I bet they go fast!

I found the prices for March Break (March 9-17) to be very expensive compared to the fares they had offered at Christmas time.

Yep! Purchased ours bright and early first thing this morning when they were first released!

I agree they seem higher this time. I have flights booked on Southwest from Buffalo to Fort Lauderdale this December over New Years that I got for 315 return. BTW my Westjet flights for March 10 to 15 out of Pearson are cheaper then many of the Southwest flights.

The key is flexibility. There are alternate airports beside Buffalo, like Rochester, Niagara Falls, Detroit, Youngstown, OH & Pittsburgh. We live in Oakville so just over 4hrs and have flown out of Pittsburgh and Youngstown before.

Found the following from Rochester for your dates. Fly into Tampa from Rochester and drive across I4 to Orlando and fly back from Orlando. Total $284rt inc taxes. Southbound trip with Delta with 1 stop and Northbound nonstop with AirTran.

I checked Southwest and Airtran out of Manchester and Portland for the dates we are going and they still don't beat the package deal I got with Jetblue out of Portland! I'm happy I booked when I did cause it's been climbing in price since then...
