Southwest lowered prices!!!

SWA lowered the prices to $59/ow, RDU to MCO, for our Jan. trip!! And that wasn't even a Ding, just an Internet special! Now I'm on the lookout for a Ding, maybe $29-39?

What was the orignal price?
Mine dates haven't opened yet, but the dates that are open show pretty steep fares for the flights I want. I'm trying to decide if i should book elsewhere for cheaper, or wait for SWA and cross my fingers for a Ding.

Our DEc the week before X-mas started at $79 on the opening day .Dropped to $55 on the first Ding then my flight down Dinged again at $41 .Just can't beat that at all. We just returned in Oct with a $112 total RT . I have so many credits we will be flying free in June and maybe a spring trip as well.

Our trip in October ended up at $110.90 rd trp from PHL.....started at $241.00 rd trp. Between the credit from that trip ($516) and about $140 oop our fare for six of us in January is paid. The January trip is also $110.10 thanks to Ding fares yesterday (Tuesday). I just LOVE SW!!!! Now I need to keep on top of the rental car situation.......the lowest I can get for a minivan is $279 from Dollar........I love to get it down around $200/$220. DH and I also each earned a Rapid Reward rd trp with our October flights.......probably will use those next fall to visit cousins on the West Coast (why waste those tickets on a short flight like PHL/MCO).
