Southwest is opened till June11

They do not have Phila listed as one of their cities as yet. My trip is not until 6/26 but I was curious as to the pricing. I guess we will have to wait a bit longer.

i just checked the website and was shrieking (sp?) and was so excited to see june 11 as the schedule thru date. unfortunately, i need philly. why are they playing with us like this?

Woohoo!!!

I just booked Nashville to Orlando for $118 per person ROUNDTRIP!!! (promotional fare $59/oneway)

Thanks for the heads up!

We are going in May but the prices are not very good at SW! And they just opened up those dates! The flight down is a good price but not coming back! And I have been axiously waiting every day for the dates to open up!! Should I wait for better rates?

Just looked for Providence or Hartford to Orlando for 5/18-5/16, which just opened up this morning, and the internet and promotional fares (i.e., cheapest!) are already unavailable!! Anyone know if they typically hold some seats back for future sales?

Can someone verify for me how the credit works? If I book a flight at a certain price and the fare later comes on sale they will give me a credit for the difference?

If I book online can I call for the credit?

What are the conditions of getting the credit? i.e the seats must be available in the lower fare at the time I call?

How long is the credit good for?

Is the credit transferable to another person?

What are the conditions on using the credit?

It looks like they don't discount the fares on Saturday departures. We are going Wed to Wed and they are great fares.

Yeah Maxwell, if only we could have left on Wed instead of Thur! Prices were much better! STL to MCO 5/27--6/4 $142 EACH way!
Yikes!! That's $60 more than the exact time frame last year. I think the travel industry is making an excellent recovery!

No, they do not.

I just got RT KCI/MCO for $81 each way using the promotional day fares! Whoopee. That'll do. Means I don't have to drive with 4(!) kids. Thanks SWA and big THANKS to mark & sandra for the heads up. I'd checked early this am and the dates I needed hadn't opened up yet. I really appreciate the info!::yes:: :teeth: :hyper: :jumping1: Do I seem excited?

Yes, if the lower fares come out at a later date, they will give you a credit.
If you book online, you need to rebook, really easy, just do an itenary change, or cancel your reservation and rebook ( obviously after making sure the flights you want and the fares you want are available.)
Yes, the seats must be available, that you can tell from the website.
The credit is good for one year from the ORIGINAL reservation date.
Yes, it can be transferred.
No conditions at all, just use it within that time frame.

Until they start service from Philly, they will not post fares.

Yes they do discount fares for Sat. departures, just depends on when and if they are already sold out or if it is during a black out period. Check the rules for the flight. what are your dates.

Blackout dates apply to all Florida markets: 3/18/04 - 4/11/04, not sure if this falls into your time frame or not.

Why do they toy with us: I need June 13 return date. I hate this waiting!!

I know how you feel we need a return date of June 12--I wonder how long its going to take them to add more days.

Best guess about a month from now, book your departure now and you can add the return when the fares come out.

Gail I tried to just book the departure date but it said I had to book round trip. Of course this was trying to book the cheapest internet fare. Any suggestions how I can get that cheap fare and only book 1 segment?? :D
