Southwest Internet Fairs

I've been watching Southwest's website for some cheaper fairs from Houston to Orlando in August. For the longest time, the cheapest was a Internet One-Way fare for $138.

Something this weekend changed and there are no more Internet One-Way tickets at all. What happened? The cheapest now is a Fun Fare.

Does anyone know?

Just hang in there. It did the very same thing during our travel time too. We got a rate of $39 one way with the internet rate and got it last month sometime. Out trip is in 12 days. Just check it everyday and I bet you will see that fare come back on line.

SW had an internet fare sale through April 25th. After that time, the internet fares were no longer available and don't show on the website. They have the sale periodically, so just keep watching, they'll probably come back!

Sign up for the SW "Ding". They post specials once or twice a day. We were able to pick-up tickets from Austin to Orlando for $99. two weeks ago. Jump on the opportunity quick as it seems there are a limited number of tickets for each flight. You will notice the same sales coming around fairly often so don't give up. You can sign-up for "Ding" on the SW website.
