Southwest Gate Numbers??

I am flying Southwest for the first time tomorrow. I printed out my boarding passes, but there is no gate number listed. How do we know which gate to go to? Delta's boarding passes always had the gate number larger than life. Do I just ask the employee when I check my luggage? Thanks for any help!

In the airport terminal, your flight will be listed on the "Departure" screens; the gate number will be posted. You could also call SWA and they can give you the gate # for your flight.

The web site for IND (Indianapolis) airport will give you gate numbers for your flights. You can get the gate #'s a few hours before departure. You might check your airport on the computer. Double check when you get to the airport to make sure it hasn't changed.

Which is probably why Southwest doesn't print the gate number on your printed-from-home boarding passes - gates are subject to change.

SW always gives us our gate # when we check in our luggage. At curbside or counter.

Gate numbers change frequently with Southwest, that's why they are not usually on the boarding pass. Once at the airport, the skycap / agent will know what gate is assigned. Be aware that it still may change. I have had that happen several times at PVD.

LOL! Yep, I remember playing musical gates once in Las Vegas - this gate, no that gate, no back to the first gate, no wait...
More recently, now that I need a wheelchair to get around most airports (MHT excepted, it's that compact), a SkyCap wheeled me from my arrival gate in - I forget, Fort Lauderdale? Miami? - about eight miles to my connecting gate - only to find they'd changed that gate VERY recently... back to where I'd gotten off the first plane @@
