Has any made this voyage, and how were the seats for this very long flight. I am considering them (SWA) for an upcoming trip to WDW. Any feed back would be appreciated.:D

I live in the Sacramento area, and fly SWA frequently to LA. They only use 737's for their aircraft, which their theory being that it saves money because maintenance instruction is focused and dedicated to one aircraft, thereby becoming "specialists" so to speak. Their safety record is fabulous and they are, in my opinion, a nice little airline to fly...if you're not going to be on it long. I prefer a bigger aircraft when I fly long distance. That is why when I go in November, I am flying SWA from Sac to LAX and then Delta (767-400) to Orlando. After about an hour or so, I need some breathing room. You know? However, if space isn't an issue for you, you can't beat the price! And I will say this, they tend to be on-time - in my experience. Hope this helps you.

We did Oakland (OAK) to Orlando this last April, and you can't beat the price. By combining an Award ticket, previous flight credit and a sale, 2 adults flew to Orlando for $177, total, roundtrip. We're planning on using SWA, for this April's trip also. The current sale for current schedule is $89 each way. The downside, no inflight movie, no meal, (but the snack tray was good, and they will make good eathquake emergency meals), and you will probably have one or more stops and possibly one or more plane changes on the trip. Do a search on this board for posts on seat size, "Leg room on Southwest", it was a busy(pg 4, or so), and recent, topic. My advice, if you are considering SW from SJC, is to book ASAP, the flights are very popular and sell out quickly. Bring your own bottled water and snacks and spend the money you save at WDW!:)
