Has anyone flown Southwest from Providence to Orlando lately? How was it?

I haven't flown Southwest before. I get the boarding pass deal that determines where you sit. Is there any food service or drinks provided? Our flight is during lunch so I would bring something if there is no food provided, but I don't want to look like the country cousin schlepping in a picnic if there will be service.

Anything else I should know? We are going to be a party of 14 - a circus under the best of circumstances. Any tips are welcome.
Thanks!

Nope, no food service, but they do give you a little snack and a bag of peanuts. There is a beverage service, free soda, 4.00 cocktails 3.00 beer and wine.

Other people bring their food on, so, don't worry about it.
I love SWA and they are my carrier of choice.
