Guess what ?? I called and asked if they adjust recently purchased tickets..They issued a credit that I can apply toward future travel. :bounce: :bounce: I guess that this means ANOTHER trip to WDW. If they twist my arm, I guess I will go.

I am so bummed...just three weeks ago, I purchased 3 tickets for $483.00 total...now I could have got 4 tickets for less money!! :(

Oh well, next time! :)

Did you book with Southwest? I booked three weeks ago with SW, and called today about the special. They are reissuing the tickets at the lower price. I am saving $292...... Wow.....

Just spoke to Southwest. In order to receive a credit, the representative said both the departing and returning flights must be of the same flight/price category. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I plan to call again just to make sure. Your help is appreciated!!

Thanks!

Called SW back... All figured out. Special fare must be available for re-booking in order to get the credit. Credit is not issued on the flight if you were already booked but can not be re-booked. If you know anything different, please post.

Thank you!!

maleficent08,

this is what is happening with us. we cant get a credit because the flights we are booked on already are unavailable with this promotion. although we could change flights, it would be too difficult to change things around to get a better deal.

I was lucky..... The same flights were available at the promotion (at least on the departure flight). The representative gave me the cash back (will be credited).

And all thanks to aero99 posting and me reading and calling not expecting anything, but getting it.
