Southwest fares for Free Dining... $78 one way non stop whoo hoo

Southwest fares great... we scored $78 each way for return flight...we even scored 3 more flights free using Southwest reward points... Pittsburgh to Orlando

I'm so jealous! I paid over $300 for each ticket, and the prices have more than doubled for the flights I have booked. Hopefully flights from Grand Rapids drop at some point

Pgh to to MCO. We got SWA for 94 one way down and 86 back home. Originally we had 94 home but 127 down. With a large group of 8 the cost of airfare can be a budget breaker. We always look at days that have the best prices like flying midweek vs weekends for savings. This time we got to add a day to the trip and with saving on air it covered the price of the hotel.

Great rate! I have a good rate going to MCO, but the day we are coming home (also to PIT), which can't be changed, is really high right now. I have enough points but hate to spend that much. I have it booked with points, but keeping an eye on it and hoping it may drop.

The day after I posted this the price went down and I got some points back. Still kind of high, hope it may drop more, but it is a Sunday so who knows.

UPDATE: booked all 5 of us..
Final price for 5 adults Southwest Pittsburgh to Orlando RT is $610 or $122 per person ROUND TRIP

We did get 2 free one ways with southwest points.
We also purchased SW gift cards through our Giant Eagle Grocery store and purchased the flights with these gift cards....by doing this we got $90 in free gas using their rewards card.
All said and done $610 for 5 round trip non stops PIT to MCO.
We do this same free duel deal for the entire purchase of the trip. Last year we had close to $900 in free fuel!

Sounds like what I had in Oct! and hoping for for my Nov trip .... I booked in like Aug last yr... last min trip because I needed to use money credited so did a solo trip... 74 one way.... 98 dollars round trip but like 123 with the early bird check in... fingers crossed I can get something like that again!

I'm seeing fares of $400-$500rt for PHX-MCO late Sept., early Oct. Sure hope they drop!
