Southwest fares down a bit today

Just booked SW out of Manchester, NH for June 5th......non-stop for $165 RT with all fees/taxes. I've been waiting for the fare to drop below $200 for MONTHS!!! Been checking every day....sometimes twice a day! Don't think I'm ever gonna see the $99 RT special I got in 2000, but this is pretty good compared to what's been out there!

Just got my tickets last week from BWI for August, $117 taxes included. Had been watching ever since flights were posted and that is the lowest I saw so I grabbed them up. Checked yesterday and the cost was higher,,

I also got that great rate yesterday for August 12! It was up $20 more today. Don't you love that non stop from MHT?!

Wow markey! I'm jealous because I thought I was doing well. I had booked for $675 (4 total w/taxes and fees) and then I rebooked for $594 earlier this week. I'm going out of BWI in August too!

Not sure if this has been posted but i spoke with a rep at Southwest today and she informed me they were not offering the Friends Fly Free program. Kind of dashes some plans for a conference this summer! Thought some of you who have mentioned it might want some information. Caroline

I find this an amazing announcement, since the agents do not know anything about future fares until they are announced to the public. Right now, there is no Friends Fly Free promo, perhaps that is what she meant.
