Southwest email confirmations

I booked 3 tickets today on Southwest. I received email confirmations for 2 but not the first one I booked. I called Southwest and they verified the email address and said they would send it again. About 30 minutes later I stll have not received an email. Should I be worried or will the confirmation page I printed be enough?

i posted this somewhere else also... but with regard to the email comfirmations...

Do you also get something in the mail? I seem to remember when we flew SWA 3 years ago, they sent you the E-ticket in the mail as well? Or is the email confirmation all you take to the airport???

Go to the Travel Center, located on Southwest's home page. Choose Retrieve/E-Mail Air Reservation. Enter the record locator and your first and last names and you will be able to retrieve that reservation. You can also e-mail it from this page. Hope that helps.
 
Thank you very much. That worked perfectly. One more question. On my DD's reservation it has a DC printed after her name. When I talked with the agent she said not to worry about it. Do you think I should cancel and rebook or not worry about it? Also, disneydebi, I think you choose to either receive the confirmation by mail or email, not both. I could be wrong on this.

i did choose email for the confirmation... but is that ALL you get?

Like I said, it's been 3 years, but last time i believe I got an email confirmation, and then an E-ticket in the mail...

Is the email confirmation ALL that you need to check in/get boarding pass?? I could have sworn last time we had something on SWA letterhead.

Gail... you out there.... can you clarify?

That's all you need, actually you really only need it if there is a problem. The skycap or counter can pull up your reservation by name, check your photo id and then print your boarding pass.

You don't even need the email confirmation to check in. Your six digit record locator is all they need -- they can look it up by name if needed.

Yep, it is one or the other. BUT....you can opt for them to send it via the mail and further on down the page email it to yourself.
In all honesty, you don't need either. Just your ID. That is the beauty of etickets.
You will need it, however, if you rent from Alamo with a debit card, they want to see proof of a r/t trip.

They don't even need that, all you need to do is know your name.

That also happened to me. I found it in my bulk mail on SBC Yahoo. Don't know who your ISP is, but, we have SBC Yahoo DSL here and a lot of stuff lands in my bulk mail. Not a big deal I just log onto yahoo.com type in my email address and password and it comes up.
