When are EarlyBird Check-In Customers' boarding pass positions reserved?
EarlyBird Check-In Customers will be checked in automatically and receive a reserved boarding position 36 hours prior to their flight's scheduled local departure time. Customers who purchase EarlyBird Check-In between 36 and 25 hours prior to their flight's scheduled local departure time will have their boarding position reserved 25 hours prior to their flight's scheduled local departure time. Boarding Passes can be printed beginning 24 hours prior to the flight's scheduled local departure time.

Wow, thanks so much for such a quick response.

It's my first time using EBCI so i wasn't sure of procedure.

Thanks again!!

Hijack here - I too purchased the early boarding pass thing for the first time for our flight back home. I read the info on swa's site, but I am not trusting it! So I don't have to do anything, we are automatically checked in and have low boarding numbers, this is the info I am gleaning from what I read. I don't know if I will be able to print an actual boarding pass, we're staying at CBR. Any further explanation of the whole EB thing would be greatly appreciated!

Right, you don't have to do anything. You will be checked in 36 hours before with boarding numbers assigned by date of buying EBCI. You are not guaranteed a "low" number, just a lower number than if you waited for 24 hours. At 24 hours, you can ask guest services to print your boarding pass, either at the resort or a park, then you will find out what number you were assigned.
