Southwest EB on boarding pass?

I don't think my EB check in worked. I've heard that if you use EB it says it on your boarding pass. I checked a couple of minutes after my 24 hour mark and got A46-A47. That's not enough to make me think it didn't work BUT there is no EB on my boarding pass. Should I call?

It doesn't say EB on your BP. BPs A1-A15 are reserved for passengers who purchase business select fares.

A46-A47 could be EB.

You can call, but it would be very unusual for your EBCI not to have worked. I've seen plenty of higher numbers with EBCI. Sometimes it's because you are in a city or on a flight that others are connecting to, so those connecting passengers with EBCI are being checked in for their originating flight AND connection (i.e. your flight) at the same time BEFORE you are able to check in. Sometimes there are just a lot of EBCI passengers.

A friend of mine took a direct flight to Vegas last January and got B1 and she had used EBCI too.

I have used EBCI 4x in the past 3 weeks and none of my BP"s had EB indicated on them in any way.

And, just remember, they give you the EB #s in order of when you purchased them, so if you bought your early bird a minute after mine, mine will be a higher #. I bought mine 4 months before the flight, so I hope to have a higher #, but you just never know.

I had EB 11/28 going to MCO and 12/8 coming home and my 12/8 EB was A37 - still lots of open seats when I boarded and I took the window in row 8, the 2 seats next to me stayed free until my son and his gf boarded w/ the Bs and I wasn't trying to save the seats for them. Take a look @ how many seats are on your plane for an idea of how many will be taken when you board.

and I was wondering how you see the seats on our flight

this is the first time on SW and not having reserved seats

Im just hoping we get seats together

All Southwest flights are all single-cabin configuration and the rows with the most legroom are the bulkheads and exit rows. You can see configurations here:

(If you look on the left sidebar, you'll see links for the 737-500 and 737-700 series jets. All are pretty similar. The biggest difference is that there are 3 exit rows on all planes - one on one side of the aisle and two on the other. The double rows are exits but don't have any more legroom than regular rows. The 1st of the double row has only 2 seats with an open space by the exit door, which means the 2nd row of the double exit row has a window seat with uber legroom. On the 500 series, the double exit row is on the left and on the others, it's on the right. The 500 series has 21 rows and the others have 23 rows, each in 3x3 configuration.
