Please explain this to me....How does boarding work with this? Do we still need to check online for a boarding pass or does southwest get our boarding #?

Once you are siged up for EBCI, Southwest will check you in 36 hours before your flight time. More than likely you will end up with an A boarding pass. A1-15 are reserved for Business Select passengers, and starting with A16, first will be any A-listers and then EBCI passengers, depending on when you signed up. The main advantage about EBCI is you are checked in and don't need to worry about printing out a boarding pass until you get to the airport. Of course you can do it anytime after 24 hours before your flight leaves.

FWIW, you still will need to get your boarding pass printed before you can go through security or board the plane. You can do that any time starting at 24 hours before your flight. EBCI will check you in at 36 hours, but you won't be able to see your boarding number or print out a boarding pass until 24 hours before the flight.

The front desk at Disney resorts or the guest services locations in the parks and at DTD will print boarding passes for you. In addition, RAC will print them for you if you are staying at a Disney resort and use the service, or you can get them at the airport at a self-service kiosk, at curbside check in or at a manned ticket line. If you are checking bags you'll have to use one of those anyway, so there's really no time saving to printing them in advance unless you are doing carry-on bags only.

We did EBCI a week ago, and it was a lifesaver.

Since we were on a Disney Cruise, it would have been really tough to check-in 24 hours in advance, so I opted for the EBCI instead...what a GREAT feature! When we got to the airport, we printed our boarding passes and were very happy to find that we were A16 and A17! Definitely worth the extra cost.

I'm sorry, but what is EBCI? - Sorry -found it online. So how does this work if I'm coming back from DCL?
Thanks!
Gayle

If you pay for EBCI for your return flight, SWA will check you in and assign your boarding number for you automatically 36 hours before your scheduled flight departure. As a result, you will not have to get to a computer on board (and hope that the satellite connection is working) at the 24-hour mark to check in (very inconvenient if you're at CC for the day). You still will need to get your boarding passes printed out, but you can do that at the same time you check your bags at the airport.
