Southwest Ding program...is it free?

I read about this in another thread and went to the Southwest website. I couldn't find any mention of what the cost is.

Ok, I knew it could be downloaded for free. I guess I'm wondering why it asked for our CC information when I was going to register?

I think you can put your credit card info on file to save time when you book the fares. You don't have to, we didn't and had no trouble booking a ding fare when a good one came along.
