Southwest Credit

I purchased my flights to Disney for October but the return flight date I needed wasn't released yet. Since I booked the original flight the cost had dropped, so I now have a southwest credit of $50. My question is how do I use that to buy my return tickets when they're released this week?! I have no experience using southwest credits, I always just use my card and I'm done. Will I have to do two separate transactions or should I be able to apply the credit before I put my credit card number in?! Can you tell I'm anxious to get this over with hahah thanks!

From my recollection, somewhere between the reservation screen and the payment screen, probably before, it will say something like apply travel funds. Credits are usually kept under the original reservation number, so you will use this. Once you put this information in, the amount of the credit should populate or if it doesn't put it in and it should recognize it and take it off the total payment due and then you will enter your method of payment to pay for it.

Jersey gal is exactly right. i use credits all the time. It is on the payment screen right before you enter credit card number.
