SW opened the schedule for late August, anyone have a promo code they would like to share?

They have that spot for codes in their booking system, but I have read on these boards before that they never have codes anymore. (probably because they are so easily shared on the internet :))

It may be used for corporate booking or something for large corporations - but I don't think you will find a code.

Wondering the same thing, does anyone remember when the $99 each way was offered for fall rates the last couple of years, trying to decide if it is wise to wait or book now for $129 each way????:confused3

Since the DING program (and before) Promo codes are very rare. I got 2 in the past 8 years, both via email - one was targeted for NE when the Patriots won the SB and the other was a DING promotion.

I have never seen a promo code. But yesterday when they opened....I put in my dates. I already had July 24th booked to go down to disney for $69ea, it went down to $59 there and it was $140 for the time and date I wanted for Aug 8th and also went down to $59 for the night before, so I took my last day off disney and added on to beginning. So for the 4 of us out of Buffalo....$556.80:cool1:

My friend and her brother also got them for $59. in Aug Sept.

Sweet, I'd booked my august flight on Tuesday and the price already dropped. Got a voucher right online - couldn't have been easier. And it turns out that the vouchers are painlessly transferable if I can't use them, so I can sell them or give them away to family - VERY cool.

5boyz -- good call on having your departure flight already booked! I was waiting and waiting because my departure date was available, but my return date wasn't available until Tuesday. Oh well -- good to know for the future.

wdw100 works for a $100 discount on Southwest travel. I was able to book a 12 night package for 5 at the ALL Star Music Suites w/ airfare, water parks and free dining for $4499.00 (air included). The package through Disney was $ 3950 w/o air. I'm traveling from NY and if I booked seperate air from SWA, it would have cost $1258. So,it looks like I saved $758.:yay:

We have always stayed at Deluxe resorts in the past, but I could not pass this deal up. We saved over $1500 by taking this vs. 7 nights @ the Poly.:goodvibes

Did the same thing..I take it you're flying outta Philly too.:cool1:

Already offered my $140 voucher to family...sweet deal..I owed him money anyway.

:confused3

Thanks for reminding me to check again today, my rates were $89 each way when they came out, and I was on wait see mode, after seeing this I checked again and we got $59 each way. I am happy, this is for a big trip with 9 round trips purchased.
Happy planning,
Donna

We booked direct flights from Providence to Orlando for $119. I'm hoping the rates go down - for one of the flights it's at $115 today, not really enough to make any changes. There are so few direct flights (we could have gotten $98 for 1 stopover each way) that we decided it was worth it.
For those who have applied lower fares to their existing reservation, how do you do it? Does the difference get put on your "account" for future purchases? Do you have to call SW or can you do it online?

Do you mind if I ask what dates? Mine haven't gone down yet and I'm wondering what time-frame they may go down in.

Please tell me ..... What is the correct procedure for selling my SW credit
to my friend and co-worker? It is only a $70.00 credit. I will not be able to use it, but my co-worker might be able to use it.

Thanks In Advance !

I am not sure but I would just assume she gives you the $70. and you give her the credit #. When she books her flights just put the credit # in and it should deduct automatically from the total?

We are leaving Philadelphia Tuesday, Aug. 18th and returning Thursday, Aug 27th. I picked those dates to avoid Friday and Sunday travel, as those days tend to remain higher on Southwest. Good Luck.

I thought those were the higher days too but I got mine for Friday there and back for $59.ea. The Sat & Sun were $129. $140. & $168. What's with that?????:confused3

I got an email from Southwest today with a code for $30 off to Orlando. That's the first code I've seen in years. The code is MKCA9ZXDUV.

I got that email today, too, but the code was different. The email called it my "exclusive online promotion code", so I'm assuming that it is a one-time use code.

So I had bought tickets earlier in the month with the SW "Wanna Get Away" price. I just checked with the promo code and its about 50 cheaper now. What options do I have?
