Southwest cancellation question

Does anyone know if Southwest has a 24 hour grace period for cancellations to get a refund? I know you can get a credit for future travel but didn't know if there was any way to get a credit if it was cancelled within 24 hours. Thanks.

I am 99% sure that once you purchase the tix you are out of luck getting money back unless you purchased a refundable fare.

On Southwest, you get a credit even if you don't show up for your flight. But refunds (on a nonrefundable fare) are something else entirely.


I've heard sometimes on these boards about people calling SW and getting a refund, but that's not their usual way of doing business.
