Southwest booking one way, and maybe changing it!

I have never flown Southwest, and am very tempted to book a flight to Tampa from Buffalo (would rather Orlando) for our March Break! I am happy with the price at $120 that was what I was expecting to pay. My question is, if I book it, and a flight comes out at a decent price to Orlando, and I have to change my dates possibly by a week or so. (Looking at booking the week before our actual break and staying that week and the week of our break) Can I change from Tampa to Orlando? Also, can I change it by a week if it works better to go the week of the break and the week after? I am sure I can do all of the above, just wanted to make sure before I went ahead and did it!
I am tempted to hold out for Jetblue at the same time. I wish I knew when they were releasing their flight schedule. Arggg!

Yes, you can make changes to dates, times, and airports, without penalty. They will just charge you the difference in airfare, or credit you the difference. The only stipulation is that those changes need to be within one year of the day you purchased the ticket, otherwise the funds expire.

Awesome, thank you so much for your reply. That is what I thought, but wanted to make sure! It basically locks in the price for me, and I will probably only change it if goes lower or I change my dates. Again, that would only happen if the price changes in my favour. I am comfortable paying $120 per person. It just means I am locked in with Southwest, at least one way!

The travel on credit needs to be completed within one year of the original purchase date.

I did just that for our trip next month. First I booked return trip only from Orlando, then I added the departure from Tampa, and have since changed the departure twice including the latest change now two days earlier and also to Orlando. No penalties, no issues. And since I was using just points, no actual funds to deal with either - just swapping points back and forth.
